In the Mechanical Systems Engineering Course, we provide support for lathe skill certification mainly for third graders and handwritten drafting skill certification exams for fourth graders.
　　Associate Prof. Yukihiro Ito, Associate Prof. Hiroshi Saito, Prof. Osamu Hasegawa, and Prof. Masahiko Misumi (Production Systems Engineering Course) participated in this support.
　　A feature of lathe skill test support is that active students are developing active learning where qualified students teach one-on-one students.
　　This greatly deepens students' understanding of lathe work even after obtaining qualifications.

Masa Lab. provides support for lathe skill certification (Level 3) and handwritten machine drafting (Level 3 and Level 2).
The past results are as follows.

2021 lathe: 12 peoples
2020 lathe: 10 peoples, Handwritten machine drafting: No Test due to Covid-19
2019 lathe: 24 peoples ，Handwritten machine drafting: ３ peoples（Level 3) and 1 people (Level 2).
2018 lathe: 16 peoples，Handwritten machine drafting: 4 peoples (start from 2018).

2016 lathe: 19 peoples
