Support of manufacturing education for Mongolian College of Technology

We have been supporting Mongolian College of Technology since 2015 in response to a request from a support association to create a Japanese-style College of Technology in Mongolia.

2015-July 2016: Started designing and manufacturing 5-inch gauge railway locomotive for Mongolian College of Technology.

2016: First visit to Mongolian College of Technology.

In September, I went to Mongolian College of Technology with two students. It is a trial run and a presentation ceremony of the locomotive.

2017: Classes have improved the locomotives. Donated 7 lathes, 1 milling machine, 1 drilling machine and 1 compressor.

・In September 2017, I visited Mongolian College of Technology and conducted engineering mechanical design classes through improvement of locomotives.
・In March 2018, two third-year students from the Mongolian College of Technology visited our Collegel: lathe training was conducted at the Shinagawa Campus General Factory.
・In March 2018, we have installed drafting equipment donated in September 2017.



2018: Opened a machinery factory in Mongolian College of Technology (November 2018).

November 2018: Long-awaited machine training factory opened. 7 lathes, 2 milling machines, 1 surface grinder, 2 drilling machines, 1 grinder, 1 universal tool grinder, 2 compressors.
It is the only full-scale machine training factory in Mongolia. There was one dedicated teacher.
